As we can see it today, the "Mirador de las Dunas" is relatively new. It was inaugurated in 2015 after having undergone extensive improvement and modernization work. It covers an area of about 1000 square meters and allows you to enjoy views over the dunes and the beautiful coast of Maspalomas. It is an almost obligatory passage for all gay man going to the gay beach and its kiosk number 7.

Since its opening in March 2015, the renovated "Mirador de las Dunas" has become a public space that enjoys great prestige among tourists and visitors who choose Maspalomas for their vacations, due to the magnificent views it offers at any time of the day, but especially in the evening hours, of the Special Nature Reserve and the entire seafront.

If you want to admire the sunset, in a cool and relaxing atmosphere, and occasionally with live music, be sure to visit it. If you want to see and be seen, this is a good place for it.

A delicious Canarian ice cream parlor and a small super market and café have recently opened in the same area. It is the ideal place to cool off after spending the afternoon on the beach, or simply have a cappuccino while watching the people go by.
